NEW TO THIS WEBSITE?

On this site you will see two 'menus', one across the top of the page and one down the left hand side.

These menus are cross-linked so, for example, if you go to the left hand menu and click on Controlling Consumption-Certification, you will find a list of documents, events, links, news, presentations and profiles that are relevant to the topic of certification; and if you select Countries & Regions, and click on Africa, you will see a map of the continent and links to individual countries. Each document, news item etc that is uploaded to the site is 'tagged' with any impacts, governance and forest management issues, political processes, countries etc. to which it relates.

You can also use the keyword search at the top left hand side of the page. If you want to search for a particular phrase, don't forget to enclose the phrase in speech marks, for example "sustainable forest management".
