CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC VPA


VPA negotiations with Central African Republic (CAR) were concluded on 21st December 2010. The VPA was ratified in the CAR on 19 December 2011 and in the European Parliament on 13 May 2102. The VPA came into force 1 July 2012, after some delay. CAR anticipates that it will issue its first FLEGT licenses in 2014.
