I conduct projects on sustainability issues including illegal logging. I work on projects such as the standardisation of Australian industry methods to reduce the risk of procuring illegally logged wood.

I also liaise with international wood federations and ENGOs on industry approaches.

I developed a generic industry Code of Conduct for the Australian Government to support procurement of legally logged wood products.

My key interests are advising government and industry on practical and verifiable approaches which reduce the risk of procuring illegally logged wood, and which also minimise the impact on markets for the vast majority of legally logged wood products.
