Engilsh: We monitor the implementation of international recommendations on the Conferences of Parties (COP) and subsidiary bodies of the Rio Conventions (Climate Change, Biodiversity and Desertification). We also assist the National Coordination of REDD+ in the formulation of policies relating thereto. We are also an active member of the technical committee responsible for drawing the grid of equal timber from the DRC under the FLEGT and VPA. Finally, we work with WWF DRC and ATO / ITTO in the audits on forest certification and PCI (Principles, Criteria and Indicators) for sustainable management of forests in the DRC.

French: Nous faisons le suivi de la mise en uvre des recommandations internationales sur les Conférences des parties (COP) et organes subsidiaires des Conventions de Rio(Changement climatique, Biodiversité et Désertification). Nous assistons également la Coordination REDD+ de la RDC dans la formulation des politiques nationales y relatives. Nous sommes aussi membre actif de la commission technique chargée de l’élaboration de la grille de l’égalité du bois de la RDC dans le cadre du processus FLEGT et APV. Enfin, nous collaborons avec WWF RDC et OAB/OIBT dans l’organisation des audits sur la certification forestière et les PCI (Principes, Critères et Indicateurs) de gestion durable des forêts de la RDC.
